PDP head asks Pakistan and India to resolve Kashmir issue thru dialogue.

People’s Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti said this, while talking to the media in Srinagar.

She asked said that if we are talking to China, why not to Pakistan?.

Furthermore, she called elections no solution to the dispute.

Mufti said the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government in India is “murdering the democracy” in the name of District Development Council polls.

Meanwhile, All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed satisfaction over the OIC Foreign Ministers’ Council resolution passed in favour of the Kashmiris’ inalienable right to self-determination at its session in Niamey, Niger.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC General Secretary Molvi Bashir Ahmad issued a statement in Srinagar Sunday.

He thanked Pakistan for its efforts to muster the support of Muslim countries for the Kashmir cause.

He further said that Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi has very well drawn the attention of the Muslim countries towards the sufferings of the Kashmiri people.

Moreover, Hurriyat leaders Abdul Samad Inqilabi and Ghulam Nabi Darzi also issued separate statements.

They sought more effective role by the OIC to save Kashmiris from ethnic cleansing in IIOJK.

Meanwhile, Kashmir Media Service released an analytical report based on interviews and statements of experts on Kashmir and Palestine.

It said India and Israel are increasingly cooperating to coordinate their tactics of occupation in their respective occupied territories— Kashmir and Palestine.
