Nearly 3500 new cases of Coronavirus reported during last 24 hours in Pakistan.

According to the latest official data, sixty-one more people died due to Coronavirus.

Furthermore, NCOC reported 3,495 new cases of COVID-19 across the country during the last twenty-four hours.

According to latest statistics, 577,501 patients have so far recovered from the disease.

Meanwhile, Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar has made an appeal to people.

He asked people to be very careful as the new strain of Covid spreads faster and is more deadly.

The minister further said hospital daily admissions and people in critical care are rising fast.

He said if SOP compliance does not improve, we will have to place stronger restrictions on activities.

Meanwhile, Ministry of National Health Services say the second batch of Sinopharm’s coronavirus vaccine of 500,000 doses has arrived in Pakistan from China.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Faisal Sultan received the vaccine at Nur Khan Airbase.

Other officials from the health ministry also accompanied him.

According to health ministry, the vaccine doses are a “gift” from China and will be distributed among the provinces for vaccination.

Dr Sultan thanked China for its generous gift. He further said Beijing has always shown unwavering support for Islamabad in times of need.
