Uganda qualifies to 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup for first time

Uganda after wining over rwanda qualified for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in West Indies and USA.
All 20 teams participating in the tournament have been finalised. Namibia and Uganda secured the last two berths, joining six other teams that successfully navigated through regional qualifying rounds.
The tournament will be held from 4 – 30 June 2024, there will be 55 matches in order to get the champion for the cup.
ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Format
There will be twenty qualified teams competing in the ICC T20 World Cup in 2024.
- 5 teams divided into 4 groups
- Top 2 teams from each group qualify into Super 8
- Teams in Super 8 will be divided into 2 Groups
- 2 Teams from each group of Super 8 will qualify into Semis
- The teams will later earn a spot in the semifinals and championship game

In 2024 ICC Men’s T20 tournament – Africa, Asia, and Europe each secured two qualification spots, while the Americas and East-Asia Pacific regions clinched one spot each.
Ireland and Scotland from the Europe Qualifier became the first two teams to qualify, followed by Papua New Guinea from the East Asia-Pacific Qualifier.
Canada secured their qualification in the Americas Qualifier. Nepal and Oman qualified as Asia Qualifier,followed by Namibia and Uganda who qualified after ensuring a top two finish in the Africa Qualifier.
