Pakistan team set to train with Army before T20 WC

Pakistani cricketers will join the Pakistan Army for a ten-day training camp from March 25 to April 8.
This was stated by Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
The said camp is a part of training before the upcoming series and the T20 World Cup.
Mohsin Naqvi made the announcement while meeting the national team players at a hotel.
The camp will commence around a week after the ongoing PSL season concludes. The PCB chief was of the view that the training camp would help players get fitness up to speed.
The camp is scheduled at the Kakul military academy from March 25 to April 8, which will address players’ fitness concerns.
On the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi cited previous Army training camps for cricketers in 2016, which resulted in Pakistan topping the Test rankings under the captaincy of Misbah-ul-Haq.
