Saba Qamar turned down this film offer with Deepika Padukone

Pakistani actress Saba Qamar has made a surprising revelation, disclosing that she declined an offer to star alongside Deepika Padukone in the 2009 Bollywood film “Love Aaj Kal”.
In a recent interview, Qamar shared that she received multiple offers from Bollywood before starring in the acclaimed “Hindi Medium” movie.
Saba Qamar revealed that she was approached for roles in several films, including “Delhi 6”, “Love Aaj Kal”, and “Cocktail”.
However, Qamar turned down the offer for “Love Aaj Kal” due to concerns that she would not receive sufficient attention alongside lead actress Deepika Padukone.

Interestingly, Qamar even auditioned for “Delhi 6” but ultimately declined the role due to her mother’s disapproval.
The actress expressed regret over her decision, admitting that she realized her mistake after watching the film with friends.

“When the film was released, I watched it with my friends and realised I had made a huge mistake by turning it down,” she added.
Meanwhile, Qamar gained recognition for her role in “Hindi Medium”, starring opposite the late Irrfan Khan.
