Australian PM’s selfie with Rani Mukherji, Karan Johar goes viral

The Australian prime minister’s selfie with Bollywood stars Rani Mukherji and Karan Johar on the occasion of the Indian Film Festival in Melbourne has gone viral.

During the ongoing Indian Film Festival in Melbourne, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albany met Bollywood producer Karan Johar and actress Rani Mukherji and took a picture with them, while a stamp was also issued in the Australian Parliament regarding Yash Chopra.

Rani commemorated 50 years of Yash Raj Films by releasing a stamp featuring Yash Chopra at the Australian Parliament as part of the festival. Rani and Karan also spoke at Parliament in Canberra.

Later, Australian Parliament Prime Minister Anthony clicked a selfie with the Indian actors. In this selfie, the Indian actors and the Australian Prime Minister were seen very happy.

Rani Mukherjee said: “I am truly honoured and humbled to be a part of this momentous occasion of unveiling the commemorative stamp of legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra at the Australian Parliament House.”

Rani, the wife of Yash Chopra’s son Aditya Chopra, said that this is not only a celebration of Chopra and YRF’s 50-year legacy of shaping pop culture, but also a celebration for the Indian film industry, which has saved countless people.

She further said that the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) has been playing a role in bringing India and Australia closer together for the past 15 years, maintaining cultural and creative ties.
