Watch: Putin kissing Quran goes viral

Russian President Vladimir Putin made a surprise visit to Chechnya on Wednesday and wholeheartedly received holy book Quran as a gift.
During his visit to the Muslim majority region, a video of him receiving Quran went viral on social media.
He received a rare edition of the Quran, during his visit to the Isa Prophet Mosque in Grozny, the Chechen capital.
He can be seen kissing the holy book as a sign of respect and held to his chest.
Upon his arrival, he was warmly greeted by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, with the two leaders discussing bilateral relations and emphasizing the strengthening of military, trade, and economic ties between their regions.
This was his first visit to Chechnya since 2011.
