Sonakshi Sinha opens up about mother’s reaction on marrying Zaheer Iqbal

Famous Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s marriage was in the news for being an inter-faith wedding, but the couple is very happy after tying the knot.

Actress Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married on June 23. The couple made headlines before and after the wedding.

Before the wedding, there were rumours that the Sinha family was not happy with the marriage, especially Sonakshi’s brothers Luv and Kush Sinha were not in favour of the marriage, after which Shatrughan Sinha himself put an end to these rumours. He stood by his daughter in this decision.

However, now, almost 3 months after the wedding, Sonakshi spoke about her parents’ reaction. The actress said that her father and politician Shatrughan Sinha fully supported her decision to marry Zaheer.

The actress further said that for a long time my friends, relatives and family were aware that she was in a relationship with Zaheer.

Actress Sonakshi said that ‘her father was very happy and he said that what will the judge do when the husband and wife agree.’

Talking about her mother, Sonakshi said that ‘her mother also had a love marriage so she could understand this situation very well.’
