Weather to remain hot in Karachi for next 24 hours

The Pakistan Meteorological Department on Saturday in its forecast said that the temperature in Karachi is likely to hit 40 degrees Celsius.
According to met office, weather in Karachi is likely to remain hot during the next 24 hours due to the absence of sea winds for a short time.
The intensity of heat will increase in the city on Saturday and Sunday, the direction of the winds will be from the northeast of Balochistan.
It was further said that between October 20 and 21, rain and thundershowers are likely in Umerkot and Tharparkar districts of rural Sindh, while hot and dry weather is likely in other districts of the province.
It said that the maximum temperature of the city was recorded at 37.6 degrees Celsius and humidity was 45 percent on Friday.
