Man arrested after burglary at England captain Ben Stokes’ home

British police announced on Friday that a 32-year-old man from North Yorkshire has been arrested in connection with a burglary at the home of England Test captain Ben Stokes.
The incident occurred on October 17, while Stokes was in Pakistan for the second Test match.
During the burglary, several items were stolen, including Stokes’ OBE medal, jewelry, and other valuables. At the time of the incident, Stokes’ wife and children were present in the house but were unharmed.
Durham Constabulary confirmed the arrest in a statement posted on Facebook, noting that the suspect has been bailed pending further inquiries.
Stokes has previously shared images of some of the stolen items in an effort to aid the investigation and recover possessions that hold significant emotional value for him and his family. The police continue to investigate the incident as they work to identify any additional suspects involved in the burglary.
