Sri Lanka win Hong Kong Super Sixes title after defeating Pakistan

Sri Lanka have won the title of Hong Kong Super Sixes for the second time after defeating Pakistan in the final.
In the final of the event played in Mong Kok, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to field first.
Apart from Muhammad Akhlaq, no batter from Pakistan side could perform against Sri Lankan bowlers. He played an innings of 48 runs, Faheem Ashraf made 13, Aamir Yameen scored 6, Asif Ali out for not while Hussain Talat scored 1.
The entire team of Green Shirts got out by scoring 72 runs in the allotted 6 overs.
For Sri Lanka, Dhananjaya Lakshan and Thirandu Rathanaike took 2 wickets each.
In pursuit of the target, Sri Lanka made a cautious start and achieved the target of 73 runs for the loss of 3 wickets with one over to spare.
Sri Lanka’s Sandoon Werakudi scored 34 runs, Dhananjaya Lakshan made 2, captain Lahuru Madhushanka scored 19 runs.
Faheem Ashraf took 2 wickets for Pakistan.
