England became the first team in the world to score 500,000 runs in Test cricket.
England created history in Test cricket by becoming the first team to score 500,000 runs in the Test format.
Australia is second and India is third in this list.
During the ongoing second Test against New Zealand, the English team crossed this milestone, which is their 1082nd Test in total, in which they completed 500,000 runs.
The Australian team has scored 428,794 runs in Test cricket so far.
Similarly, the Indian team is at the third position with a score of 278, 700 plus.
England also holds the record for most centuries in Test cricket with 929, while Australian batsmen have scored 892 centuries so far.
