New Zealand delegation visits National Bank Stadium Karachi

A New Zealand Cricket (NZC) delegation has visited the National Bank Stadium in Karachi to review arrangements for upcoming ODI tri-series featuring Pakistan and South Africa.

The series will be played in February ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy tournament in Pakistan.

The delegation features New Zealand Players’ Association representative Brad Rodden and security consultant Reg Dickason.

He was welcomed by Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Director of International Cricket Usman Wahla, and General Manager Arshad Khan.

The delegation reviewed renovation process of the stadium for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.

Earlier, the delegation also visited Rawalpindi Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium as part of their assessment.

The tri-series will end before the ICC Champions Trophy which is slated to run from February 19 to March 9.

The series is scheduled to be played in Multan from February 8 to 14, providing the three teams an ample opportunity to fine-tune their preparations for the eight-team tournament.

10 February, 2025 – New Zealand vs South Africa

12 February, 2025 – Pakistan vs South Africa
