Dozen Michael Jackson unreleased songs found in an abandoned storage

15 December, 2024 00:09

Nothing, not even death, can stop the King of Pop from doing what he did best—making music.

A hidden collection of cassettes and DAT tapes containing unreleased Michael Jackson tracks has been unearthed in a storage unit, RadarOnline.com has exclusively revealed.

The tapes, dating back to the late 1980s and early 1990s, were discovered by a former California Highway Patrol officer, Musgrove, now a stay-at-home dad.

Musgrove was alerted to the storage unit, located in Van Nuys, California, by an associate who had purchased it. The unit previously belonged to Bryan Loren, a music producer and songwriter who collaborated with Jackson. Loren’s current whereabouts are unknown.

The collection includes 12 unreleased songs believed to have been created during the lead-up to Jackson’s Dangerous album, between 1989 and 1991.

“I’ve scoured fan sites, and some of these tracks are rumored to exist while others have never been heard by anyone,” Musgrove explained. “Listening to them gave me goosebumps—it’s incredible to hear Michael Jackson joking and discussing his creative process in the studio.”

Among the unreleased tracks is one titled Don’t Believe It, which reflects Jackson’s well-documented frustrations with the media. Another song, Seven Digits, was explained by Jackson on the tape as referencing morgue identification numbers. There’s also Truth on Youth, which appears to feature a rap duet between Jackson and LL Cool J.
