Ukraine has launched a drone strike on Kazan, Russia, causing significant disruption and damage in the city.
The attack, which targeted multiple residential areas, triggered fires in the Sovetsky, Kirovsky, and Privolzhsky districts.
Media reports indicate that at least three residential buildings were struck, with several people feared injured.
As a precaution, Kazan International Airport temporarily suspended all flights, while nearby Izhevsk Airport imposed additional restrictions.
The strike, located 800 km east of Moscow, represents a sharp escalation in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, heightening tensions between the two nations.
