Saif Ali Khan attacker captured on CCTV
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was reportedly stabbed six times during an attack at his Bandra residence early Thursday morning.
Authorities say the suspect gained access to the building by scaling a wall and then using a rear fire escape to enter the apartment complex.
The suspect was captured on CCTV footage at 2:33 a.m. in a stairwell, wearing a t-shirt, jeans, and a backpack. The footage shows him walking down the stairs and glancing directly at the camera.
Khan’s house help, Eliyama Phillipes, noticed the intruder and alerted Khan, who attempted to confront and fight off the attacker.
During the struggle, Khan was stabbed multiple times in his left hand, neck, and spine. Two other household staff members were also injured.

Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where emergency surgery was performed to remove a knife lodged in his spine. Doctors confirmed that the actor is stable and recovering. “He is completely stable and out of danger,” said Dr. Nitin Dange of Lilavati Hospital.
The police have registered a case under charges of robbery, trespassing, and grievous injury during house trespassing. Eight teams have been formed to investigate the incident, with the Mumbai Police Crime Branch also involved.
