Diljit Dosanjh Says He Has ‘Love’ for Lahore Fans Despite Criticism

Diljit Dosanjh who is known for his Punjabi songs and his remarkable acting skills sent a message of love to a fan from Lahore during a recent Instagram Live, saying he loves everyone equally, including people who criticise him.

During the live session, a Pakistani user commented, “Love from Lahore.” Diljit responded warmly, saying, “There is love for everyone from my side too. Even if people abuse me, I have nothing but love for you.”

He then explained his approach towards people and their opinions. “I consider everyone as one, although some people don’t agree with this,” he said.

Diljit further said that he does not let other people’s views disturb him. and said, “If you like me, that’s fine, and if you don’t, that’s fine too.”

The singer more added he does not feel the want to defend himself against criticism. Addressing the Lahore fan, he concluded, “But if you’re talking about love, then there is a lot of love from my side.”

Lahore has previously come up during Diljit’s Instagram Lives. In July, a fan asked him to visit the city, to which he replied, “If I come to Lahore, they won’t let me go anywhere.” He also said politics was the real obstacle.

The interaction comes during a busy period for Diljit. His Aura World Tour started in November 2025 with performances in Sydney and Melbourne, followed by its North American leg in 2026. The North American leg of the tour drew more than 225,000 ticket sales across 15 dates and earned over $32 million, making it a record for a Punjabi artist in North America.

Diljit performed at a sold-out Wembley Stadium show in London in September 12. With the venue holding around 90,000 people, he turn out to be the first Punjabi artist to headline the iconic stadium.
