Good news for fans of Saif Ali Khan!

Indian actor Saif Ali Khan, who was seriously injured in the knife attack, was discharged from the hospital after 6 days.

Doctors have advised Saif Ali Khan to take complete bed rest for a week to avoid any infection.

The actor was seriously injured in a knife attack on resistance during a burglary at his Bandra home, and was rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital in a rickshaw.

At the time of discharge from the hospital, Saif Ali Khan’s mother, actor Sharmila Tagore and his wife Kareena Kapoor were also present in the hospital.

Saif suffered an injury just 2 mm from his spinal cord which caused his spinal fluid to leak out and underwent surgery to repair it. He also underwent plastic surgery for the injuries.

Indian police have arrested Shariful Islam Shahzad, a Bangladeshi citizen who had entered India illegally and was living under the false name Bijoy Das, for the attack on Saif Ali Khan.
