Fatwa declaring 3 deadly games against Sharia issued

Religious scholars have issued a decree (fatwa) declaring three deadly sports/activities as against the Sharia.
In the religious decree (fatwa) issued by the Ulema, aerial firing, kite flying and one-wheeling have been declared as illegal (against Sharia).
According to the fatwa, any action that endangers life is unlawful. Islam gives first priority to the protection of human life.
The scholars further said that deadly sports like aerial firing, kite flying, and one-wheeling are strictly prohibited in Islam. These actions are tantamount to suicide.
On the other hand, Lahore DIG Operations Faisal Kamran has said that Islam prevents itself from getting killed. Kite strings, aerial firing have lost many precious lives. In just 20 days, 151 people have been arrested for one-wheeling while 150 cases have been registered for kite flying.
He said that 118 accused of aerial firing have been sent to jail. Police will continue strict action to prevent deadly sports.
Parents are requested to prevent their children from illegal, illegal activities.
