ICC announces the Men’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the Men’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year.
Pakistani opener Saeem Ayub, England fast bowler Gus Atkinson, Sri Lanka’s Kamindu Mendes and West Indies’ Shamar Joseph were nominated for the ICC Men’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year award.

According to the ICC Men’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year, Kamindu Mendis of Sri Lanka was named.
Kamindu Mendes scored a total of 1451 runs in 32 matches across all formats in 2024.
26-year-old Kamindu Mendes scored 1049 runs with 5 centuries in just 9 Test matches in 2024. His best score was 182 not out.
