WATCH: Rachin Ravindra injures after being hit in face
New Zealand’s star opener Rachin Ravindra was hit on the face in the opening match of the tri-series.
In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium, the visiting New Zealand team defeated Pakistan by 78 runs and started the tri-series on a winning note, but during the match, Kiwi opener Rachin Ravindra was hit on the face while trying to hold the catch, due to which he was injured.
In the 38th over of the Pakistan innings, he suffered this injury while trying to catch Khushdil Shah off Michael Bracewell, after which blood started dripping from the cricketer’s face and he was given immediate medical attention.
Rachin Ravindra was brought to the field on a stretcher to help, while the Pakistani physio also continued to help the guest player, but the cricketer wrapped his face in a towel and left himself.
