Gene Groove Allen Cause of Death – Actor Dead At 62

Gene Allen, a rapper and actor famous for his appearances in 1990s films like House Party and What’s Love Got to Do with It?, has passed away.

According to reports, his family confirmed that Allen, known by his stage name “Groove,” died suddenly at his home in Maryland on Wednesday due to a medical emergency.

Sudden Passing of a Hip-Hop Pioneer

Allen’s death came as a complete shock to his family. No foul play is suspected. The rapper was a pioneering figure in hip-hop, best known for being a member of the trio Groove B. Chill, alongside Daryl Mitchell and Eric B.

The group was featured in the 1990 classic House Party and its sequel, alongside notable figures such as Christopher Reid, Robin Harris, and a young Martin Lawrence.
