Benzema rejects Cristiano’s GOAT claim

Former French striker Karim Benzema has a disagreement with former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, when it comes to football GOAT (greatest of all time).

Several weeks ago, Cristiano Ronaldo declared himself as the best player in history, words that do not surprise those who know him.

However, now a rival in Saudi Arabia, Benzema does not believe that the Portuguese is the best player in history.

Not only that, he even snubbed Leo Messi from the debate and opted for an iconic No 9 ‘Ronaldo’.

“Did Cristiano say he was the best? Everyone can say what he wants. If he thinks he is the best in history, it’s him. There are many. For me, for example, it’s Ronaldo, the one from Brazil,” Benzema confessed on ‘TNT Sports’ in Brazil.

“I don’t like to make comparisons between players. I think everyone has their own story and he has his, he is very good,” added the former Real Madrid striker.
