SBP announces revised bank hours – Ramadan 2025

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has officially announced revised banking hours for the holy month of Ramadan 2025, ensuring convenience for both customers and banking staff, ARY News reported.

Updated Banking Hours for Ramadan

As per the notification issued by the central bank:

• From Monday to Thursday, banks will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM without any breaks.
• On Fridays, banking hours will be from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, also without any break.
• For public dealings, banking hours will be 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, with no interruptions.

A State Bank spokesperson confirmed that all commercial banks, development finance institutions, and microfinance banks will adhere to the new schedule throughout Ramadan.
