NASA and SpaceX launch two missions together into orbit

NASA and SpaceX have successfully launched two missions into orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California after solving bad weather and a technical issue.
NASA’s new space telescope, the SPHEREx Observatory, will map the sky at Earth’s poles over a period of two years, while SpaceX’s PUNCH mission will have four small satellites studying the Sun.
SpaceX announced after the launch that the Falcon 9 was launched from pads in California.
The launch was delayed due to strong winds at the launch site and a technical problem with a NASA spacecraft.
This successful lift-off is the first time NASA and SpaceX have launched two missions simultaneously.
