PM urges political unity to fight terrorism in KP, Balochistan

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the country cannot progress until terrorism ends in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti briefed the Prime Minister on law and order in Balochistan.

Addressing the meeting, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the terrorists who attacked the train did not even care about the sanctity of Ramazan as unarmed passengers were taken hostage in this desert.

Security forces under the leadership of the Army Chief successfully rescued 339 passengers and 33 terrorists were sent to hell. The Army Chief has been told that he will provide whatever resources the security forces need.

The prime minister thanked the Zarar Company of SSG on behalf of the people and the government and said that the Zarar Company has been formed to deal with such terrorists.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the entire nation is shocked and saddened by the Jafar Express incident today. Pakistan can no longer afford any other such accident, for this everyone will have to contribute and until the development of Balochistan is like other provinces, Pakistan will not progress. Until terrorism ends in KP and Balochistan, the country cannot progress.

The prime minister said that in the past, such Taliban were also released whose roles were black. Army officers and jawans are saving millions of children from becoming orphans by making sacrifices, if we do not respect these sacrifices, we will be accountable in this world and in the hereafter.

Friendly enemies are harming the country, if we do not wipe out the terrorists, the country’s development journey will be put on hold, we will also do APC, we will talk about the problems of Balochistan.

He said that the group of terrorists will adopt every tactic that creates division among the people, adding at this time the need is national unity and we will continue to do our own politics but we have to come together against terrorism. I will call a meeting with consultation and full preparation, he added.
