Nadra Family Registration Certificate Fee Update – March 2025

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) provides Family Registration Certificates (FRC), which offer an official record of a citizen’s family tree. This document contains details about family members and is issued after verification of records.

Types of Family Registration Certificates (FRC)

NADRA issues the FRC under three categories:

1. By Birth – Includes details of an individual’s parents and siblings.
2. By Marriage – Lists the spouse and children.
3. By Adoption – Contains details of the legal guardian.

Individuals who are not registered with NADRA and do not possess a 13-digit CNIC number will not be included in the FRC.

How to Apply for an FRC?

Pakistani citizens can obtain the FRC through the following methods:

• NADRA Registration Center (NRC): Applicants can visit the nearest NRC to apply.
• NADRA Mobile App: The certificate can also be obtained online via NADRA’s mobile application.
• Pakistan Missions Abroad: Overseas Pakistanis can apply for an FRC at their respective Pakistani embassies.

FRC Fee in March 2025

As of March 2025, NADRA’s fee for the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) remains Rs1,000, with no recent revisions in charges.
