Pakistan’s policy towards Israel has not changed: FO

Pakistan has said that the US travel restrictions on the country have not been officially informed, adding these things are only media speculation so far, while there has been no change in Pakistan’s policy towards Israel.
Foreign Office spokesman Shafqat Ali Khan, while giving a weekly briefing to journalists, said that Pakistan and the United States have strong relations in various fields.
He said that the travel restrictions have not yet been formally communicated at the government level as these things are still only media speculation.
The Foreign Office spokesman said that there is no truth in the reports of sanctions by the United States. The State Department has denied the reports of entry sanctions in the United States.
He said that yesterday’s meeting on visa issues was part of routine meetings, summoning a diplomat is part of a routine and there is nothing unusual in it.
Shafqat Ali Khan said that Pakistan-US relations are strong and multifaceted.
He further said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is on a visit to Saudi Arabia, where he had met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The prime minister thanked Saudi Arabia for its continuous support to Pakistan.
The Foreign Office spokesman said that Pakistan condemns Israel’s attacks on Gaza, which are opposed to the ceasefire. Pakistan will continue its support for a two-state solution and there has been no change in Pakistan’s policy towards Israel.
