Usman Khan and Haris Rauf asked to stay in NZ for ODI series

The Pakistan team management has asked fast bowler Haris Rauf and Usman Khan to stay in New Zealand and included them in the national ODI squad.

Eight players of the T20 team will leave for home and the remaining five players have joined the team in Napier.

After the completion of the T20 series against New Zealand, the players and coaching staff of the Pakistan team left for Napier from Wellington. Fast bowler Haris Rauf and wicketkeeper-batter Usman Khan were included in the ODI squad by the team management. Earlier, both the players were only included in the T20 squad.

Salman Ali Agha, Haris Rauf, Khushdil Shah, Irfan Khan Niazi, Abrar Ahmed, Sufyan Muqeem, Mohammad Ali and Usman Khan joined the ODI squad in Napier.

It should be noted that nine players including captain Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam are already in Napier, the remaining eight players of the T20 squad will leave for Pakistan via Dubai from New Zealand, including Shadab Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Umair Bin Yousuf, Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Haris, Abbas Afridi, Abdul Samad and Jahandad Khan.

The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand will start on March 29.
