Teddi Mellencamp shares emotional health update during ongoing cancer battle

Teddi Mellencamp, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, shared an emotional update on her health journey via Instagram Stories, marking what was initially planned to be her last day of radiation treatment in her ongoing fight against stage 4 melanoma.

In the video, the 43-year-old Mellencamp wore a yellow T-shirt with the slogan “I’m a ray of f****** sunshine,” humorously referencing the tradition of ringing a bell to signal the end of treatment. However, according to Daily Mail, Mellencamp’s final session was postponed after doctors discovered four additional tumors.

Despite the setback, Mellencamp maintained a positive attitude, expressing confidence about completing the treatment. She also thanked her supportive medical team and her friend, Jennifer Leipart, who accompanied her for the bell-ringing moment.

Meanwhile, Mellencamp’s estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, has publicly expressed his ongoing support despite their divorce filing in November. On his podcast and social media, Arroyave commended Mellencamp’s strength and resilience, highlighting her ability to inspire others through sharing her journey.

Looking ahead, Mellencamp shared that she has five more rounds of immunotherapy to go. She expressed gratitude for the continued love and support from her followers during this difficult time.
