Azerbaijan visit visa fee update in Pakistan – April 2025

If you’re a Pakistani planning to visit Azerbaijan as a tourist, you’ll need to apply for a visit visa before entering the country.

Azerbaijan, situated on the border of West Asia and Eastern Europe, is a well-known tourist destination. It draws tourists from around the world for its stunning scenery, diversity of cultures, and historical relics.

The capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, is vibrant and dynamic, filled with modern structures alongside historic monuments. Visitors usually explore areas like the UNESCO World Heritage site “Old City” (Icherisheher), the Flame Towers, and walk along the Boulevard by the Caspian Sea.

E-Visa System for Pakistanis

Azerbaijan has made it easier for tourists by launching an online visa system called “ASAN Visa”, which allows people from many countries, including Pakistan, to apply online.

There are two types of tourist visas available:

1. Standard Visa

   • Fee: $20 (about Rs5,611 at current exchange rate of $1 = Rs280.55)
   • Processing Time: 3 to 5 days

2. Urgent Visa

   • Fee: $50 (about Rs14,027)
   • Processing Time: 3 to 5 hours

Pakistani travelers can apply in just three simple steps through the ASAN Visa website and receive their e-visa via email.
