Punjab Students to Get Free Travel, Discounts with New Card

The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has launched a Student Card program to support students in both public and private schools and colleges.

This new initiative offers educational, financial, and career-related benefits, making it one of the most helpful student welfare programs in Pakistan.

Key Highlights of the Student Card Punjab 2025

• Free Travel: Students with this card can use public transport across Punjab for free, helping especially those who travel from far or less privileged areas.

• Scholarships Access: Cardholders will be eligible for local and international scholarships. The card will also make the process easier by acting as a digital student ID.

• Digital Academic Profile: Each student will have a digital record of their grades and activities. This will help with career guidance and future admissions.

• Career Support: The government plans to work with private companies to provide career counseling and education tools to cardholders.

• CM Education & Eminence Card: Students scoring over 80% marks will receive a CM Eminence/Star Card as a reward for high performance.
