Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), confirmed late Wednesday that eight Pakistani civilians were martyred and 35 others injured as a result of Indian missile strikes targeting six locations within Pakistan.

Addressing a late-night press conference alongside Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, the DG ISPR stated that a total of 24 strikes had been carried out. He also noted that two civilians remain missing based on preliminary reports.

In Kotli, two young civilians—a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old boy—were killed when a missile struck Masjid-e-Abbas. A woman and her daughter sustained injuries in the same attack.

Muridke suffered four separate strikes. One missile hit a mosque, killing one person and injuring another. Two individuals from the area are still unaccounted for. The strikes also caused damage to a nearby residential building.

In Kotli Loharan village near Sialkot, one shell failed to explode while another landed in an unpopulated area, resulting in no injuries or damage.

Two strikes in Shakargarh damaged a local dispensary. Meanwhile, in Muzaffarabad’s Shahiwali area, seven strikes damaged Masjid-e-Bilal and left a young girl injured.

The most devastating attack occurred in Ahmadpur Sharqia, where four separate strikes on Subhan Mosque killed five civilians, including a three-year-old girl. The attack also injured dozens—among them six women—and caused significant damage to the mosque and nearby residential quarters.

The DG ISPR condemned the strikes and reaffirmed that the loss of innocent lives will not go unanswered.
