Rezaei described the relationship between Iran and Pakistan as genuine and rooted in faith and said Iran considers the Pakistani government, military and people a great asset to the Muslim world. He also noted that Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Chief of Army Staff are playing a more active role in regional developments, while Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian attaches special importance to Pakistan.

Rezaei further emphasized the deep bond between the two peoples, saying the affection between Iranians and Pakistanis is beyond description and has few parallels anywhere in the world.
