Gladiators storm into PSL 10 Final defeating United

Lahore – A strong all-round performance helped Quetta Gladiators defeat defending champions Islamabad United by 20 runs in the Qualifier 1 of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 at Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday, booking their spot in the final after six years.

Batting first, the Gladiators posted a challenging 209/6. Contributions from Finn Allen (41), Dinesh Chandimal (48), and Faheem Ashraf (45)* powered the team to a strong total despite early setbacks.

In reply, Islamabad United were bowled out for 179 in 19.4 overs. Sahibzada Farhan (52) and Salman Ali Agha (44) fought hard, but a late collapse, including two quick wickets by Usman Tariq in the 18th over, ended their hopes.

Usman Tariq starred with the ball for Quetta, claiming 3/32, while Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Wasim Jr took two wickets each.

Islamabad United still have a chance to reach the final and will face the winner of the Lahore Qalandars vs Karachi Kings Eliminator match on Thursday.

Quetta now await their opponent in the PSL 10 final, aiming to lift the trophy for the second time in franchise history.
