Sindh schools, colleges to begin summer vacations on June 1

The Sindh government has officially announced summer vacations for all schools and colleges in the province, including Karachi.

As per the Sindh Education Department’s notification, the summer break will start from June 1 and continue until July 31, 2025.

This decision applies to both public and private educational institutions across Sindh. The announcement follows the recommendations of the Education Department’s steering committee, which had earlier set the academic calendar, including holidays and exams.

Meanwhile, other provinces have also announced their holiday plans. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, summer zone primary schools will be closed from June 1 to August 31, while high schools in the same zone will be off from June 15 to August 31. In winter zones, schools will have a shorter break from July 1 to July 31.

Before Sindh’s announcement, Punjab and Balochistan had already shared their 2025 summer vacation schedules.
