Pakistan has taken a step forward in digital economy advancement. With the support of SIFC, the first “Blockchain-based High-Performance Computing” license has been issued.
The license has been granted by the Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) to Higgs Computing Limited.
The Ministry of IT & Telecom and the State Bank of Pakistan played a key role in this initiative. The project is expected to provide significant investment opportunities in blockchain, AI, and big data.
Under this project, an annual foreign exchange inflow of 1.5 to 2 million USD is anticipated. The data center will initially operate with 7 megawatts of electricity.
This is a revolutionary step toward effectively utilizing excess power capacity.
