Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem wins gold at Asian Athletics Championships
Pakistan’s star javelin thrower, Arshad Nadeem, has made the country proud once again by winning a gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championships. He secured first place with a powerful throw of 86.40 metres in his final attempt.
Arshad showed strong performance throughout the event, and his final throw helped him stand at the top of the podium.
India’s Sachin Yadav won the silver medal with a throw of 85.16 metres, while Japan’s Yuta Sakiyama took the bronze with 83.75 metres.
Arshad started the competition with a confident first throw of 75.64 metres and kept improving as the event continued.
Another Pakistani athlete, Yasir Sultan, began with a throw of 70.53 metres. He then impressed everyone with his second throw of 75.39 metres, showing great progress.
This win adds another proud moment to Pakistan’s sports achievements, especially in athletics.
