Who is Abdul Rehman Sajid Havi? Is He Responsible for Asim Azhar, Merub Ali Split

Pakistani celebrity couple Asim Azhar and Merub Ali have officially ended their engagement, surprising fans and sparking widespread speculation. Though both stars have stayed professionally active and avoided public displays of distress, online discussions—particularly on Reddit—have been buzzing with theories about their breakup and the possible link of Abdul Rehman Sajid, aka Havi, to their split.

One name that keeps surfacing is singer Abdul Rehman Sajid, popularly known as ‘Havi.’ Fans online speculate that Merub may have grown close to Havi, possibly causing tension between her and Asim. Adding fuel to the rumors, some users noted that Asim has unfollowed Havi on Instagram, while Merub still follows him.

There are also claims that Merub was seen attending one of Havi’s concerts alongside singer Momina Mustehsan, and she reportedly did not publicly acknowledge a recent achievement of Asim’s.

Despite the growing speculation, neither Asim, Merub, nor Havi has addressed or confirmed any of the rumors.

As for Havi, he is Abdul Rehman Sajid, who rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the Karachi-based band Auj, winners of the 2019 Pepsi Battle of the Bands. He was instrumental in shaping the band’s musical identity and contributed to well-known songs like “Lafz” and “Aansu.” Havi parted ways with Auj last year to focus on his solo career.
