Trump to Make Decision Regarding US Action Against Iran Within Two Weeks

Washington – White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt has said that US President Donald Trump will make a decision regarding American action against Iran within two weeks.

In a press briefing, Caroline Leavitt referred to a message from Donald Trump, stating, “I will make my decision within two weeks regarding action, based on the realities of the prospects for negotiations with Iran in the near future.”

She said that Trump wants a diplomatic solution with Iran, but his top priority is to ensure that Iran does not develop nuclear weapons.

She added that any agreement would aim to prevent Tehran from enriching uranium and stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons capability.

The spokesperson said President Trump has always shown interest in diplomatic solutions. “He is a peacemaker, a strong president through peace. If there is an opportunity for diplomacy, the President will seize it, but he will never shy away from the use of force.”

Caroline Leavitt also stated that Washington firmly believes Iran has never been closer to obtaining nuclear weapons.

She further said that Trump is regularly briefed on Israeli attacks and warned that Iran will face serious consequences if it does not halt its nuclear weapons program.
