BISP July 2025 payment eligibility: Check details

If you’re waiting for your Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) payment in July 2025, this guide will help you understand if you qualify, how much you’ll get, and how to check your status easily.

What is BISP?

BISP is a cash support program by the government of Pakistan for low-income families. It provides money every three months to help with daily needs like food, healthcare, and education.

The main program is called Kafalat, and from July 2025, the payment has been increased from Rs 13,500 to Rs 14,500.

Who Qualifies for the July 2025 Payment?

You may get the July payment if:

• Your poverty score (PMT) is below the official limit.

• Your monthly household income is under Rs 50,000.

• You are a woman head of the household or have no male breadwinner.

• Your CNIC is valid, and your mobile number is registered.

• Your information is included in the NSER survey.

• You don’t work in a government job, don’t get a pension, and haven’t traveled abroad or own luxury property.

Re-included Beneficiaries

Around 400,000 women who were removed earlier due to registration or fingerprint issues are being added back. By the end of this update, over 1 million new women will be part of the BISP program.

How Much Will You Receive?

• Rs 14,500 as the Kafalat payment for this quarter.

• If your children are enrolled and verified, you may also get Taleemi Wazaif (education stipends).

When Will the July Payment Be Released?

• Payments begin in July 2025.

• Funds will be released in phases, with big cities first, then rural areas.

• Your personal payment date depends on your location and verification.

How to Check Eligibility and Payment Status

Method 1: SMS

• Send your 13-digit CNIC to 8171.

• You will get a reply showing:

  • Your eligibility

  • Payment status

  • If biometric or survey verification is needed

Method 2: 8171 Web Portal

• Visit the 8171 portal.

• Enter your CNIC and captcha code.

• Click “Check” to see your status—approved, pending, or needs verification.

Method 3: Local BISP Office

• Visit the nearest BISP tehsil office with your original CNIC.

• The staff will help you check your status, register, or fix any issues.
