KP Governor Awards Umrah to Youths Who Saved Tourists in Swat

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi announced a reward and Umrah for local youths Muhammad Hilal Khan and Ismat Ali, who saved the lives of tourists in the Swat incident.

Faisal Karim Kundi met with local youth who saved the lives of tourists in the Swat incident and paid tribute to them for saving the lives of tourists using an artificial boat.

He praised the bravery and humanitarian spirit of both young men.

The governor also announced that he would send the two youths on Umrah and presented the youths with introductory shields for their bravery and spirit of humanitarian service.

The Governor also announced that he would recommend the Prime Minister confer civil awards on Muhammad Hilal Khan and Ismat Ali. He said that the brave local youth risked their lives to rescue the tourists using an artificial boat. This bravery and spirit of humanitarian aid by the local youth is commendable.

The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also directed the Chairman of the Red Crescent to further strengthen the provision of emergency services in Swat.
