Jourdan Atkinson, the former personal chef of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, has spoken out, saying she now fears for her safety after he was found guilty of lesser charges but acquitted of the most serious sex trafficking charges in his federal trial.
The 55-year-old rapper and Bad Boy Records founder was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but was cleared of two sex trafficking and one racketeering charge.
Atkinson Pleads With Court for Safety
Atkinson, who was once part of Combs’ inner circle as his private chef, wrote a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian asking for Combs to be denied bail while awaiting sentencing. The judge agreed, keeping Combs in custody.
She also shared videos and a subpoena on her Instagram account, where she revealed she was subpoenaed as a witness by the Southern District of New York in 2024, though she did not testify at the trial.
“I stand on everything that I have always said,” Atkinson said in one of her emotional videos. “I do not feel safe. I don’t know where to go from here.”
Claims of Abuse and Support for Cassie
Atkinson says she witnessed and personally experienced physical abuse at the hands of Combs while working for him. She also claimed to have seen Combs abuse his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.
Last year, CNN released hotel surveillance footage reportedly showing Combs dragging Cassie down a hallway—footage that was widely shared online.
In her latest post, Atkinson wrote: “I stand with Cassie, as I always have… We have all been put in danger. FOR WHAT?”
Her Letter to the Judge
In her letter to Judge Subramanian, Atkinson wrote: “This past year and a half has been traumatizing. This verdict is devastating… I fear for my safety upon his release.”
What Happens to Diddy Now?
If Combs had been found guilty of sex trafficking or racketeering, he would have faced a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years, possibly even life in prison. Now, with only two guilty verdicts on prostitution-related charges, he faces up to 10 years for each count.
The sentencing date has not yet been announced.
