In northern Gaza, Palestinian resistance fighters launched an attack on Israeli forces, killing 5 Israeli soldiers.

According to Israeli media reports, in a major operation by Palestinian resistance fighters in the northern Gaza area of Beit Hanoun, 5 Israeli soldiers were killed and at least 10 were injured, while one soldier is reported missing.

The report stated that the Palestinian fighters targeted an armored vehicle carrying Israeli soldiers with an explosion. When Israeli rescue forces arrived at the scene, they too came under attack.

Following the assault, Israeli helicopters reached the site to evacuate the wounded and engaged in heavy gunfire.
