Pakistan Shaheens Squad Announced for Top End T20 Series 2025 in Australia

Darwin tour begins August 14 against Bangladesh ‘A’; Haider, Irfan, Samad headline Pakistan squad
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed a 15-member Pakistan Shaheens squad for the upcoming Top End T20 Series 2025, scheduled to begin on August 14 in Darwin, Australia. Middle-order batter Muhammad Irfan Khan will captain the squad in a competitive six-team tournament that includes Bangladesh ‘A’, Nepal, and four Australian domestic sides.
This tournament is seen as an excellent opportunity for emerging players and those on the fringe of the national squad to gain experience in international conditions. It will also serve as preparation for Pakistan’s upcoming T20 international season.
Experienced Names and Fresh Talent
The squad features a blend of experience and youth.
Haider Ali, with 35 T20Is, is the most capped player.
Abdul Samad (5 T20Is) and Faisal Akram (3 ODIs) also bring international experience.
Ahmed Daniyal and Mohammad Salman Mirza, currently in Pakistan’s T20I pool for the Bangladesh series, are also included.
All-rounder Mubasir Khan and left-arm spinner Mehran Mumtaz make their return based on solid domestic form.
