Pakistan Navy Islamabad Conference
The Pakistan Navy Command and Staff Conference was held at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad, chaired by the Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf.
During the conference, Admiral Naveed Ashraf praised the Pakistan Navy’s impregnable maritime defense capabilities, particularly during the Battle of Haq. He also commended the measures taken to ensure the smooth flow of trade through sea routes and the uninterrupted operations at ports.
The Naval Chief emphasized the importance of maintaining high combat readiness to counter both conventional and unconventional threats in the maritime domain. He further highlighted the growing significance of drones, underwater and surface autonomous boats (naval drones) for maritime surveillance and operational effectiveness.
Principal Staff Officers and Field Commanders, under the leadership of the Naval Chief, conducted a thorough review of the Pakistan Navy’s existing policies and strategic plans during the conference.
