PM Expresses Grief Over Losses Caused by Rain, Floods

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property due to heavy rains and floods across the country.

He offered prayers for the people who lost their lives in the accidents and floods and directed that rescue operations in affected areas be further accelerated.

The Prime Minister ordered immediate restoration of roads blocked by landslides and instructed authorities to provide stranded travelers with all necessary facilities, including shelter and food.

He stressed the importance of preventing the spread of diseases in flood-hit regions and called for urgent health and safety measures.

The Prime Minister also urged all relevant institutions to work together and create a joint action plan for upcoming monsoon weather systems to ensure better preparedness and response.
