Fatal Bus Accident on M-2 Motorway in Chakwal: 7 Killed, 20 Injured

Chakwal: A tragic bus accident occurred near the Bulkaser Interchange on the M-2 Motorway in Chakwal, resulting in the deaths of seven people and injuries to 20 others.

According to the Rescue officials, the passenger bus, which was traveling from Rawalpindi to Lahore, fell into a ditch near Dhok Sial after its front left tire burst, causing the vehicle to overturn.

According to the Motorway Police, the accident happened while the bus was en route along the M-2. There were a total of 40 passengers onboard at the time of the accident.

The injured were immediately shifted to the Trauma Center in Kallar Kahar and the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Chakwal. Some of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.

Authorities are continuing investigations into the incident.
