Who is Shabana? TV Anchor Goes Missing with Family at Babusar Top

A female TV anchor, Shabana, has mysteriously gone missing along with her family in the Babusar Top area of Gilgit, as reported on Sunday.

According to a spokesperson for the Gilgit-Baltistan government, the missing individuals include Khyber News TV anchor Shabana, her husband Liaquat Ali, and their four children—Aimal, Iman, and two others. The family had visited Babusar Top on July 21, and have not been heard from since.

Upon receiving the report, rescue agencies launched a search operation. Teams are utilizing modern technology and sniffer dogs in an effort to locate the missing family. Authorities confirmed that the operation is ongoing, despite the difficult terrain and geographical challenges in the area.

It is worth noting that just a week earlier, a cloudburst at Babusar Top had resulted in the deaths of several tourists.
