CSS 2026 MPT challan fee, exam schedule & eligibility

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has shared an early update about the schedule for the CSS Competitive Exam 2026.

CSS MPT Test – Important Dates

FPSC will publish a public notice on August 10, 2025, for online applications for the MPT (Multiple Choice Test). This is a screening test that must be passed before taking the main CSS written exam.

You can apply for the MPT from August 11 to September 25, 2025. The MPT test will be held on November 9, 2025.

MPT Test Details

• The MPT is required for all candidates who want to appear in the CSS exam.

• It includes 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

• Subjects include: English, Urdu, Islamic Studies, General Abilities, Pakistan Affairs, Current Affairs, Mathematics, and Everyday Science.

• The test fee is Rs250, which must be paid when submitting your application.

CSS Written Exam Schedule

FPSC will open online applications for the main CSS written exam on December 14, 2025.

• Applications can be submitted from December 15 to December 30, 2025.

• The written CSS exam will begin on February 4, 2026 (Wednesday).
